Francisco Sandoval, a web-exclusive case on AMW's old website is wanted for the attempted murder of his son-in-law. It should be noted the same son-in-law would eventually die months after getting allegedly shot by Sandoval but based on the old AMW archives, the charges were never upgraded (if they were, AMW never reflected it). In any case, here is a partial archive description I was able to retrieve:
According to authorities Sandoval was a good man who built a home for his family. Police are not sure what happened to cause Sandoval to want to hurt his son-in-law. For reasons unknown to the police Francisco confronted his daughter's husband shooting him at point blank range and leaving him for dead.
Authorities believe that Sandoval could be living in Mexico. Police say husband and wife Eva Sandoval and Mario Alberto Manriquez Soto were returning home from a party on Oct 1st, 2005 when they became entangled in a dispute. Eva distraught over the fight left her husband and returned to her family. There she reportedly told relatives about Mario's threats to kill the family and burn down their house. The next day Mario went looking for his wife. When he visited the store that Eva owned he encountered her father. For reasons unknown to the police Francisco confronted his daughter;s husband shooting him at point blank range and leaving him for dead. With the deed done Sandoval walked back to his car parked in an alley next to the food store and sped off in a dark colored 1996 Dodge Caravan bearing Wisconsin license plate number TSK302. By the time police interviewed witnesses, obtained and executed a search warrant for Sandoval's residence he was gone.
Authorities believe that family members helped Sandoval elude capture by transporting him to various locations. Police believe Sandoval's first stop was Chicago then Mexicali the capital of Baja California, Mexico. According to the victim's father Sandoval may be living in the Mexican State of Michuacan in one of three cities: Arrajio Maravativo or Tarondas. Neighbors of the Sandoval family living in Delavan report that Sandoval's wife Angelina Sandoval will soon be traveling to Mexico to visit him Where ever he is. Sandoval could be working in a lumber yard performing construction or manual labor jobs. Anyone who spots Sandoval should exercise extreme caution."
Thoughts? As far as I know, Sandoval's still at large, but please let us know if you have proof otherwise.
