Aliases: Moises A. Tinagjero, Moises A. Tina Jero, Moises Torras Tinajero, Moises Alonzo Tinatero, Moises Tinajero, Moses Alonzo Tinajero, Moises Alonza Tinajero, Moises Torres Tinajero, "Moy" DESCRIPTION Date(s) of Birth Used: August 20, 1961; August 26, 1961; Place of Birth: Reynosa, Mexico Height: 5'6" to 5'8" Weight: 145 pounds NCIC: W440268631 Occupations: Painter, Farm Laborer Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Sex: Male Race: White (Hispanic) Nationality: Mexican Scars and Marks: Tinajero has the following tattoos: a cross on his left hand; "Death Before Dishonor" on his left arm; and a male and female on his left shoulder. Remarks: Tinajero speaks Spanish and English fluently, but reportedly has a fourth grade education. Tinajero reportedly is a heavy smoker and narcotics user. He may seek out divorced women and may be abusive with them. Tinajero may have traveled to Mexico, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Georgia. CAUTION Moises Alonzo Tinajero, a convicted felon, is wanted for his alleged involvement in a triple murder in Lowndes County, Mississippi in September of 1986. Tinajero reportedly was acquainted with the victims who were found in a trailer in a mobile home park approximately eight miles north of Columbus, Mississippi. It is alleged that Tinajero sexually battered two of the victims before killing all three of them, and stealing one victim's car. Tinajero was charged with committing the murders and state arrest warrants were issued in 1986, by the State of Mississippi, Circuit Court of Lowndes County. Also, on February 13, 1987, Tinajero was indicted by the State of Mississippi for murder, capital murder, and grand larceny. Then, on May 15, 1987, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Northern District of Mississippi, after Tinajero was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. ---- Thoughts? According to the Master List of AMW fugitives a longtime viewer sent us, Moises Tinajero was aired at one point on AMW. He was on the FBI Featured Fugitives website in 2011 which is where I got this information from. It's really going to be tough to find Moises Tinajero after 29 years on the run, but fugitives on the run for even longer have been captured alive. He probably changed his appearance a long time ago such as cutting the very long hair he had in the 1980s. Based on wanted location, our advice for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Moises Tinajero would be to contact the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department at lowndescountyms.com/elected-officials/sheriff/ Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-formweb.archive.org/web/20110427081033/http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/murders/moises-alonzo-tinajero/view

Glad you were able to do just one more from the master list for Machete. In any case, who knows where Tinajero is now, since it's been so long. He's either dead, in jail under an alias, and/or in Mexico.

Haven't been able to find any updates from the past few years. Although considering the passage of time with no news I feel it's pretty safe to assume that Tinajero is still at large as of this update. (7/15/2018).

I’d say this guy is pretty good FBI top 10 material. You murder three women, (two of whom you raped) and then steal of the victim’s cars. Kinda surprised they placed cryptoqueen on the list instead of some actual menaces to society.
Anyways, I’m think he’s still at large, probably in Mexico.

This "man" killed my aunt & my cousin. Jeanette was my daddies sister. He had 2 b the 1 to identify her. My aunt told me when I was around 14 in 1992 that Moises had been sighted working somewhere close to the grand canyon, not heard anything about him since. Another wasn't told at what this man truly did to them, it's horrifying! Gave me night mares for most of my youth & totally broke my grandmother. I would love 4 anyone to take on this cold cast but tbh I believe he's probably dead. He was running drugs back & forth from Mexico. Ty for everyone who took the time to comment

Ty for everyone who took the time to comment Hi Jennifer, I'm very sorry for your losses. I do hope even if Tinajero is dead they will one day find his body so there can be some sense of finality. Of course I hope for justice if he's alive still as well. -Scumhunter

Ty for everyone who took the time to comment You could contact John Walsh and he could air your cold case on his TV show, In Pursuit. It would reignite the case and bring in tips that could lead to a capture, and then justice.

I have already submitted this case to John Walsh's team for consideration. Please keep in mind though they unfortunately have to turn down hundreds of cases a week and prefer more recent cases if possible, but they will at least see the case on my recommendation list to consider possibly profiling. Other good areas to contact are Unsolved Mysteries for their show or website or Project: Cold Case.

Just curious, is there still a UFAP warrant for him?

I don't see a UFAP warrant but sometimes that happens in pre-90s cold cases.

I hope John Walsh sees the case and profiles it, this was a very brutal crime and the passage of time doesn’t make it any less bad, neither does the need for justice.
Tinajero shouldn’t be thinking that he got away with this. He will have to face the music in this life or the afterlife.
