"Metro Police have re-ignited the search for a man suspected of killing his former girlfriend outside a domestic violence shelter in northeast Washington.
On Jan. 28, 2009, Richard Morton allegedly stabbed 39-year-old Rachael Marie Culver, according to America’s Most Wanted.
Despite her injuries, officers say Culver was able to crawl inside the shelter and tell a friend who attacker her.
Morton and Culver dated on and off for years, according to AMW.
The 49-year-old Morton has a history of arrests for physical assaults, destruction of property and threats, authorities told the Washington Examiner.
Morton is 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds, and is considered armed and dangerous.

Metro Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to his arrest or conviction."
Thoughts? The above was an old news article about this case. Morton was profiled on AMW's old website. As far as I know, Morton is still at large. However, if anyone has proof otherwise, please feel free to let us know.

UPDATE: It is still unclear if Morton is still considered wanted or not and our research shows he is possibly deceased but we cannot definitively prove that. If you think you know someone that resembles Morton, our advice would be to double check with authorities to see if he's still wanted but do call in that tip if it is confirmed.
