Friends Murdered Execution Style
On September 13, 2005, the night before Chaz Kettner's 21st birthday party, Chaz and a childhood friend -- Nick Munoz -- decided to start the celebration a little early. So the pair of longtime pals went out for dinner and then had plans to watch a baseball game afterward.
While out on the streets of Houston, Tex., cops say Chaz and Nick stopped at a gas station -- and that's where things went awry. Shortly after Nick pulled up to the station, cops say a man got out of a green truck and hopped into the backseat of their car -- chaos quickly followed.
Police Need Clues
Police say the unknown man shot Chaz execution style. Nick tried to get away but it was too late. Cops say the man shot Nick too.
Police have no idea who this mystery murderer is and they need help. Someone out there had to have seen the man in the green truck. Cops say they know there were likely witnesses at the scene that night who may have critical information about this case, and they hope these people will come forward.

Thoughts? The above was from the AMW archives, where the Kettner and Munoz murders were a web-exclusive case on the show's website. It appears the case still unsolved. Unfortunately, the case also appears to still be a baffling mystery, as there's no apparent motive as to why Nick and Chaz were shot.
