Case Narrative:
Carlos Gomez is wanted for the murder of two people and the shooting of a 2 year old. On Thursday, May 2, 1985 this subject was at 3611 SW 117 Ave. Investigation revealed that the subject demanded that victim #1 return a boat that had been given to him by the subject. The victim, a paraplegic, in a wheelchair refused. The subject produced a handgun from concealment and fired at the victim, striking him several times. The victim was babysitting at the time and the 2 year old was on his lap. The subject struck the baby also. Subject Gomez, fled the scene and a second victim followed. Once in the parking lot a second subject fired and killed victim #2. The subjects fled the area.

Some background information. Carlos Gomez was a fugitive I learned about from looking at archived law enforcement most wanted pages. I then verified his still active warrant through Florida's Public Warrants search website. There is no question that this is one very bad person. Carlos was willing to shoot a paraplegic man in a wheelchair who was holding a toddler all over a boat. The child thankfully survived his/her injuries but two people were murdered that night on May 2, 1985.
As far as his whereabouts go, that's really hard to figure out. The archive website doesn't mention if he's of Mexican, Central/South American or Caribbean descent, and Miami is a melting pot of Latin American cultures. So 32 years later, he could be anywhere by now I guess.
