It really is odd to go from competing in the Olympics to being in the drug trade. His case reminds me of Larry Chism on the marshals list, he went from being an aspiring lawyer to running heroin... Such a downfall

So I swear I am honestly- unless it is off-topic political discussion- trying my best to be politically neutral now because there's just too much drama out there otherwise- but the elephant in the room is Trump might fire FBI director Chris Wray once he takes office- and even if he doesn't= Wray's term will expire in 2027 anyway. The top ten list is not decided by the director but by a media panel- but I believe they still have influence to approve or disapprove and they set the general tone for the cases they take on.
I overall feel Wray's done a decent job but I have been disappointed with one aspect of the list and cases on the website and that is that treating the list like it is the 1980's and profiling cocaine traffickers and/or cases like Ruja Ignoatova where unless it is true she's funding terrorism- it's awful she scammed all those people (although tbh In Pursuit didn't pick the most sympathetic victims- one person even got her sister involved and some scams I'm like "yeah they're good" but this one was more "how the hell did they fall for this?")- but how exactly is she dangerous enough to qualify being on the top ten?
It is once again a conservative administration though and when there is a new FBI director- I hope it will continue to be a relatively normal list and doesn't turn into Joe Biden replacing Alexis Flores or something. (Only half joking lol).
There's of course rumors they want to get rid of the FBI all together- but I don't see how even republicans in congress would allow that.

I was worried with Wray’s appointment initially, but I do think he overall has done a good job. He does seem to get that counterintelligence and counterterrorism are our two priorities.
