CASE SUMMARY
On March 14, 1990, Yun and an accomplice went to a closed Korean restaurant at 9735 Garden Grove Blvd. The accomplice entered the restaurant via an unlocked door, approached employees at the register, drew a gun, and demanded money. All the employees ran toward the back room and the accomplice shot one of the employees. The accomplice left the restaurant without the money. Yun was the alleged driver of the getaway vehicle.
Both the accomplice and Yun went to Korea. The accomplice was arrested in Hawaii on September 19,1990. On May 7,1991, the accomplice was convicted of murder and robbery and received life without the possibility of parole.

Thoughts? Sung Jin Yun was another fugitive I found on an archived Law Enforcement website that I later confirmed his active warrant through the Orange County, CA warrants database. While the shooter in this case has since been sent to jail for the rest of his life, Sung Yun still needs to be arrested and convicted for his role in this as well. Since he's still been at large for 26 years, he's likely still in South Korea.
