Rene Luis Berencen, Jr. is wanted for his alleged involvement in three murders in Miami, Florida. On March 16, 1991, Berencen allegedly robbed and shot the victims to death during what appeared to be a drug rip-off.
On May 24, 1995, a state arrest warrant was issued by the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida for Dade County, Florida charging Berencen with first degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy, and armed burglary. A federal arrest warrant was issued on April 17, 1998 by the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, charging Berencen with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

As far as what happened to Rene, his gambling and drug problems could have led to his downfall at some point, or he could have used his college education to start a new life under an alias. After 25 years on the run, it's finally time that Rene Berencen get caught and face Final Justice in a court of law.
