I don't see Fisher ever surrendering. He's too allegedly cocky to give up. If that really was him who called AMW and said they're never going to catch him, he's never surrendering. (Although guys who say "they'll never be caught"- well AMW actually has a good track record with catching them afterwards.) Most of the fugitives who have been on the FBI list that surrender in recent memory- have done so shortly after they were added (Jose Guevara and Edwin Gracias come to mind). Most of the long-timers will probably feel they've gotten away with it thus far and they have a great chance at never being caught so why give up now. (Although crazy as it sounds- the one guy I can actually see surrendering one day is Jason Brown. I don't really have a reason but just a feeling, but we'll save that for another discussion. )

David Lee Kemp he was a long timer and he surrendered and I Actually got to tell you I had a dream Brown Surrendered a while back in 2014 and i woke up to check the FBI website only to find that Juan Elias Garcia was the one who surrendered lol. But yeah Fisher he shocks me so much just by the amount of time he's spent on the run, it's hard to believe 10 years ago I was a kid looking at the FBI's website staring at the ten most wanted and seeing Fisher on there and seeing him on there today a decade later. I think the FBI needs to use billboards to bring awareness to cases like Fishers, it's the same things they've done with Brad Bishop, Eric Frein and Yaser Said and Daniel San Diego so maybe it's time the FBI changed tactics.

David Lee Kemp surrendered but he wasn't on the FBI's top 10 list, and seemed to surrender for health reasons.
But yeah I think billboards of Fisher would be a good idea, but they'd have to do age-enhanced sketches and stuff first.

A bust of Fisher would be perfect that's what got John List caught, and it seems to bring in a lot of tips on Bishop, sketches would be good too

I was just reading Edward Harper's poster and I didn't know they thought he was allegedly part of a anti-government militia, but could it be possible Fisher joined up with some Anti-Government militia or White supremacists somewhere in the Rockies and the reason he's been at large for this much time is because he has supporters or people who may be hiding him?

I guess anything is possible. I don't think Fisher was ever accused of being racist or anything, but hey, no one thought he would allegedly murder his family either. Dan Hiers was allegedly helped by white supremacists.

Yes and also Dan Hiers is a long running fugitive just like Fisher and I personally don't think he's with white supremacists but anti-government militias that support him and are hiding him, he probably may have joined up with groups like these not long after the murders somewhere in Idaho, Montana or Wyoming I feel Fisher may be. Which brings up another problem, if say one day the FBI is to get intelligence on Fisher, I personally feel with those groups he will go down fighting.

Well I found this article but that isn't what interested me but the comments people left and I want your opinion? A lot of these people claimed to have known Robert Fisher and even him wanting to party with some people and it gets crazier when a woman claimed she was raped by him in 2000. idk if it's credible but if anyone would like to check out these comments themselves be my guest. mylifeofcrime.wordpress.com/2006/12/19/family-annihilator-robert-william-fisher/

I think this post says it best:
"Almost every single person that has decided to post a comment on here, also decided to take it upon them self to claim that they knew Robert William Fisher."
I don't doubt some of the more sane claims, such as claiming to go to school with his son. That's not unreasonable and would be a stupid and uninteresting thing to make up. But there's a point where so many people claimed to have known him that it gets ridiculous.
Perhaps some of these people really did have encounters with a guy who looked like Robert, or they could be lying. This might seem somewhat off-topic I remember reading some 1980's or 90's celebrity blog where the actress shared stories she read about her. One was a message board poster who told a story about how they met her at a store or something and she didn't want to talk about her acting career but she was nice said this and that. The actress said the conversation never took place. Just using that as an example that you can never really trust internet postings. Take them into consideration, certainly, but treat them with a healthy dose of skepticism as well.

Oh yes absolutely I agree, there were some people who were being basic and telling things that are believable but a lot of them in a way crossed that line of being believable to make belief stories just craving some attention... Also mostly talked about with Jason Brown is IMO relatable to Robert Fisher, he in a way looks like your average 50-55 year old white male and I don't doubt they thought they saw him or did see or meet someone that looks like him. But yes there are some wackos on the Internet that crave the attention and I was very skeptical and decided to let you see for yourself lol. ?

Thanks, a forum is only as good as it's activity though so thanks for your contributions as well. Discussing these cases can often lead to new and interesting discoveries.

One thing I noticed that I thought was interesting, in 2011, Interpol put out a red notice for Fisher. This is TEN years after his initial disappearance. Most FBI top ten fugitives are on Interpol, but I find the timing curious, waiting a decade, and wonder if they received tips that Fisher could be overseas that they put him on the list. interpol-most-wanted.silk.co/page/Robert-William-FISHER
