Oh yes that is so true. I've learned that first hand with another case that it affects the family a lot.
Fishers sister seemed to still love her brother and told it like is, unlike Jason Brown's siblings that lied on his whereabouts.
Now I want to see Fisher tried and in prison but in a sense him being found deceased would be a good outcome, since it saves tax payers money on a trial and feeding him it may sound mean but Fisher could have been or will serve the biggest punishment unless he makes his peace with u know who. (Don't want to get too religious here)

There's been "reported" sightings according to articles, but none of them have ever been confirmed to be Fisher.

Fishers life long dream was a cabin in the mountains. Colorado is highly populated and its expensive to live there. On the other hand Idaho,Montana,& Alaska are more remote with abundant Wildlife. There are a lot of abandoned cabins where a guy could hide also lots of seasonal people are gone in the Winter, and leave a lot of supplies in their cabins, heating fuel etc. with or without permission somebody could stay, just a thought. how hard core Survivalist is he? Alaska isn't that bad of an idea, really it makes sense but I'll get into that in a bit, but getting there is difficult since he had to go through British Columbia, Canada in order to get there. Also here's some facts on why it makes sense: •Alaska has a population of approximately 735,000. •Alaska has 650 State troopers. •Has an area of 663,268 sq miles. •It has the 4th largest median household income. It would really make sense since Alaska is huge in territory, it's got a lot of wilderness in the areas around Fairbanks and Anchorage, also in those areas the temperature in the summer is about 70-75 degrees so summer would be a relief. Also I brought up median household income because Alaska is known to be a good state to work in since there is a lot of money to be made working in the oil fields in northern AK, or he could possibly work as a truck driver hauling supplies to those oil fields but the hurdle with that is dealing with the AK-DOT. Fisheries would make the most sense since he is an avid fisherman. The lack of police in AK would explain (if he's hiding there) why he's been at large for so long since 650+ (counting possibly small town police depts) officers cant really stay on top of everything in a state whose area is the largest in the country. Alaska is really big and may go unnoticed since there isn't too many people living there in one area and being an survivalist, he probably lives off the grid in a cabin in the wilderness

I think it would be a perfect timing to sticky him to the top

I'm going to wait for the CNN articles before the episodes to do the stickies for all the cases. Give the other eight or nine their fair share of attention while the new episode isn't out just yet. (and give fugitives in other sections fair share of attention as well.)

Found something interesting here while searching up Robert William Fisher Canada as I tried to find an article that went in depth on when they arrested the look alike in 2004 in British Columbia and said they kept him in custody 1 week till family members positively identified him and said that his fingerprints were hard to read and that the mans first name was also Robert, but anyways what I found was some people on a yahoo question and answer where this individual asked the question "Is Robert William Fisher dead" and then they talked about possibly declaring him dead. This was asked about 5 years but any thoughts??? I know one inaccuracy was the fact that he didn't take any clothes since he must have taken some also his weapons too answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110726180307AARfAl5

I'd file this under hearsay. This is an anonymous poster claiming they heard AZ police wanted to declare Fisher dead without any links or articles to back up what they're saying.

I agree, it would be pretty dumb to declare their most wanted man legally dead, also this would have been fact if it came from either a media outlet or law enforcement source but there isn't anything to back up this claim.

Today 14 years ago Fisher had been placed to the FBI ten most wanted list.

Thank goodness it's been so long but I'm glad it's out and wait 4 more days till the episode. Also the FBI stickied him to the top of the ten most wanted section.

These are my two theories (as I stated before, I am constantly changing my mind on Fisher, one day I think he's dead, the next day I think he's alive, but right now I'm leaning towards the latter):
1. Fisher is dead, in the caves in the Tonto National Forest. Unfortunately with so many holes and places to hide, authorities just missed him and perhaps his remains will never be found.
2. Fisher is alive, living in suburban America, or perhaps Mexico, he now has a new family and a new wife and kids. He's relatively well liked in his community and nobody has any idea about the alleged family killing he committed.

Well when it comes to Fisher I feel the same way about this case as it is just so mind boggling it's like literally trying to figure out a puzzle.
The theories I have are plenty but I feel this is what may have transpired.
Fisher likely being dead:
1) Fisher killed him in the Tonto National Forest (in particular the caves as you've stated.
2) Fisher killed himself a few years after being on the run (2002-2005) because of the paranoia being a fugitive and being depressed of what he did to his family, though the downside is he's too cocky to do that.
Fisher likely living:
1) Fisher is in the rural parts of the U.S. or living in Mexico, more likely lawless areas in Mexico.
Canada has actually stuck with me as a likely possibility since he fits well up there and the countryside and forests are much more vast compared to here in the states.
Alaska has been one theory I said and it would actually make sense since the police force in that state is so limited and being a state great in territory that it wouldn't surprise me if he's living out there.
One thing we do have to agree on is Fisher had no criminal background and if he stays out of trouble he can keep it up unless he's someone recognizes his mannerisms and his face.
