Mark Steven Bauman is wanted by the Texas Department Of Public Safety for failing to register as a sex offender. He is one of the 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders in Texas.
Bauman has a criminal record including smuggling illegal immigrants, theft, and sexual assault of a child. The latest arrest was a result of Bauman sexually assaulting a seven-year old girl for six months. In January 2007, a woman from Guadalajara, Mexico accused Bauman of videotaping her two daughters while they dressed, and inappropriately touching one of the girls. Warrants for his arrest were issued in 2007 for child pornography, unlawful video recording, and probation violation. A second warrant for failing to register was issued in 2010.
Bauman speaks fluent spanish and has been known to meet women through spanish-language dating websites. He may be in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras or Colombia. He has also been self-employed in the construction business.
