He has a tattoo of a falling angel on an upper arm; and a tattoo of an Indian sitting on a horse on an upper arm. He has a scar on his upper left arm. Remarks: Moller may have traveled from Miami, Florida to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, in 2003. Moller is also known to have ties to Denmark. TIPS: If you have any information concerning this person, please contact your local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.From the FBI's website: "Erik Kristian Moller, a convicted child molester, is wanted for failing to appear for sentencing in San Luis Obispo, California, in 2003. Between the years of 1997 and 2000, Moller was entrusted to care for his female victim on almost a weekly basis while she was ages 10 through 14. He gave the girl drugs and/or alcohol prior to the molestations. On December 18, 2002, Moller was convicted of two counts of lewd act upon a child. Moller was released on bail until sentencing. On March 18, 2003, Moller failed to appear for sentencing related to the lewd act upon a child conviction. Moller was sentenced in absentia to ten years in state prison. On March 19, 2003, a felony bench warrant was issued for Moller after he was charged with failure to appear. I'm rather disappointed that Erik Moller was never on AMW. He looks pretty distinctive and also has pretty distinctive tattoos. AMW also managed to capture a few fugitives in the Dominican Republic so if he's hiding out there, they might have been able to make Erik a direct capture as well.

In fairness, I believe he wasn't added to the FBI's website until recently. So perhaps the extra publicity wasn't felt needed yet.

This guy reminds of Eric Toth just by the looks. Now It could be a quick capture if he's in the Dominican Republic because if we put the word out he might be there, he'll be flushed out quick.

If he’s known to be in the Dominican Republic, I’d say he’s not going to be that much of a challenge to find him and take him down. It’ll be like Edward Harper.

According to a Dominican Republic message board that I read after America's Most Wanted fugitive Carey Price was captured there, there's a bunch of white guys living there that seem to be obviously on the run from something. (While the weather is nice, and it's not fair to stereotype any race, when a Caucasian American especially if it's one who doesn't speak Spanish suddenly moves to a country such as D.R. from seemingly out of nowhere, it's bound to raise suspicions).
Moller if he's there could possibly have already aroused suspicions, but they don't know who he is just yet.

As of July 16th, 2018, Moller is still listed on the FBI's website as a wanted fugitive. (Same link as in the OP).

Whether we like Nancy Grace or not, decided this means Moller was technically aired on TV so therefore this thread belongs in the Fugitives on TV section so I shall move it there. |
