Cops say on December 5, 1997, Miguel Leon shot and killed Pedro Corral Chavez outside “Club Shakers” in Salt Lake City. Leon's girlfriend left the club and the victim put his arm around her and offered to walk her to her car. She refused, but without warning, several gunshots went off and the young woman saw the victim begin to fall down. The girl turned in the direction of the sound of the gunshots and saw Leon drop his hand and walk to a nearby red car. Several other witnesses who were also in the parking lot say they saw a Hispanic male shoot the victim and then turn and walk to the car. Chavez died from four gunshot wounds to the chest.

Thoughts? Miguel Angel Leon was one of the original 50 State/50 Fugitive cases from the Nov 18, 2000 episode of AMW. We were never able to make a thread on Miguel since his photo from the AMW website didn't show up but I did manage to find his FBI featured fugitive poster that contained his photo. His warrant is confirmed as being still active on the Utah Statewide Warrant Search.
Anyway some lovers like Miguel Leon are so possessive that they will kill anyone who even associates with their partner. It's not a justifiable reason to kill someone, never has been and never will be but people like Miguel are never going to understand that. After 18 years on the run, it's time to finally make some Final Justice out of Pedro's murder and finally help to capture Miguel Leon.
Based on wanted location, our advice for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Miguel Angel Leon is to contact the Salt Lake City Police Department at (801) 799-3100.
