In 1989, Mario Salinas-Trevino was arrested in a federal drug raid in Texas. Authorities seized $10 million worth from Mario who at the time was a multi-billion dollar drug lord, involved in trafficking marijuana from Mexico to Texas. On Apr 16, 1990, Mario decided he was going to break out of prison. To do that, he and two fellow inmates obtained a pistol that was smuggled into the prison and overpowered three guards. They then took control of the security systems and fled. Additionally, a report online claims that Mario could have links to the 1985 murder of DEA agent Enrique Caramena.

Thoughts? Mario Salinas-Trevino was an AMW fugitive we were never able to make a thread on up to this point since we didn't have a photo of him. He was featured on Apr 22, 1990 (according to IMDB) although I am not aware if he was aired after that as well. The US Marshals major case poster I found on their archived website links up until 2002 so I'm going to assume that Mario is still wanted as of this posting date (5/31/2016) but any updated information would be appreciated.
