(Above photo credit: mlive.com via Crime Stoppers) From mlive.com: DETROIT -- Police say a group of children riding bicycles on the afternoon of Sept. 14, 2014 was caught in the crossfire of a gun fight when India Williams, 7, was struck with a bullet and nearly died. India survived, "and never lost her friendly personality," but is restricted to a wheelchair, according to CrimeStoppers, the agency that on Tuesday announced a reward for information leading to an arrest has increased to $5,000. Police said two gunman were firing at each other from separate vehicles speeding down the street when India was struck by a stray bullet. Detroit police at the time arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the shooting and said they were looking for at least one other suspected shooter, a 36-year-old man. Relatives of the girl believed the gunmen were fighting over a nearby dice game, according to a report from the Detroit Free Press. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers, 800-SPEAK-UP, visit the agency's website or text: CSM and your tip to 274637.www.mlive.com/news/detroit/index.ssf/2016/05/reward_for_information_leading.htmlThoughts? The reason I'm placing India's case in the unsolved on tv section is because of profiled on the syndicated crime show "Crime Watch Daily": crimewatchdaily.com/videos/0-yhs49y6p/Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form
