Victor Rodas is wanted for the 2001 murder of Juan Ramirez, his roommate.
Rodas had spent the day of October 14, 2001 drinking heavily. Police say when he finally ran out of alcohol, he went searching for money to purchase more. Police say he approached the 60 year-old Ramirez, a resident of the group home Rodas lived at, and asked for more money. When Ramirez refused, an enraged Rodas pulled out a machete and attacked Ramirez. Ramirez died before the ambulance arrived. After the murder, Rodas convinced two friends to take him to a Greyhound terminal in Delaware, but there is no evidence that he boarded a bus. He hasn't been seen since.
The go to guess is that he probably fled to Mexico after the murder, and the trip to Delaware was a way to throw police off the trail. It's also possible he died of alcoholism after several years.

UPDATE from site admin: I have not been able to find anything online about this case from recent years. I am assuming that Rodas is still at large as of this update (7/20/2018), because I could not find anything suggesting otherwise. However, as always, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know
