COLORADO FUGITIVE NEWS -- A domestic homicide fugitive is most wanted by Denver police, Eugenio Morales-Bautista is suspected of killing his thirty-five-year-old girlfriend, Patricia Lopez-Vargas in North Denver. As a result, Morales-Bautista is charged with First Degree Murder, and has a reward of up to $2,000 offered for information leading to his arrest.
On February, 16, 2002, Patricia Lopez-Vargas was discovered dead by friends inside Morales-Bautista's apartment. It was further determined by Denver Homicide Detectives that Lopez-Vargas was the victim of a beating, which caused severe trauma and eventually death. Moreover, the crime scene showed signs of undoing. Lopez-Vargas body was found inside the bedroom of the apartment, lying on the bed, covered with a sheet. Therefore, the covering of the body signifies remorse and personation between the killer and his victim.
Moreover, spontaneous domestic homicides have been found to manifest during emotionally stress-filled events, or arise from a cumulative buildup of stress. Many times the victim is depersonalized through facial disfigurement. While often, a history of abuse or physical violence exists between the killer and victim.
Additional information developed in the case found Morales-Bautista was a musician in a local band, and stated he was going to California or Mexico after the murder.
Eugenio Morales-Bautista is described as:
Birth Date: September 27, 1953
Height: 66 inches (5'6)
Weight: 180 pounds
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Sex: Male
Race: Hispanic
Eugenio Morales-Bautista should be considered possibly armed and dangerous. Persons with knowledge of this suspected fugitive killer's current whereabouts are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Callers will be eligible for his reward after his arrest.

Thoughts? I should note I put the fugitivekillers.com description in this OP because I thought it gave a more detailed description than the official Denver government link, but to please keep in mind the motives and such is somewhat speculation on their part. (They do an excellent analysis and it's speculation I agree with, but it's still speculation).
In any case, what we can agree on is this was a very violent homicide and Patricia Lopez-Vargas is no way deserved to die in the manner that she did. Whether Morales-Bautista is in California, Mexico, or anywhere, he needs to be caught and held accountable for his alleged actions.
