Drug trafficker Curi Tapia-Martinez is the 4th out of 7 AMW fugitives on the USMS site I am featuring right now. He was aired on AMW five times between 2008 and 2011 (one or two airings were full profiles and two of them were brief 50/50 show mentions).
Authorities say Curi Caberi Tapia-Martinez ran a meth trafficking operation originating out of Turlock, California that transported the narcotic to North Dakota and Minnesota. Tapia-Martinez realized that in the region's many small towns, he could set the price for the meth unlike in major cities. Tapia-Martinez purchased the meth from the Mexican Drug Cartels. In order to resolve disputes, automatic weapons and even a grenade were used. In 2006, an arrest warrant was finally issued for the drug trafficking, after he claimed to be from either Mexico or Spain.
Thoughts? He's probably fled to Mexico by now and is likely employed by one of the drug-trafficking organizations he got the meth from in the first place.
