On March 5, 2000, two 14-year old girls snuck out of their home during a sleepover in Hillsboro, Oregon. As they were walking down the street, four men and one teenager abducted both of them and took them hostage inside their van. The five attackers took turns raping both teenage girls, one of the attackers, Margarito Reyes-Vasquez bit one victim's breast. The attackers even went as far as smothering one of the victims with a child's bib and choking the other victim. After they were done violating both girls, the five men threw them out of their van and fled.
Thanks to some good police work, investigators found the van a few days later and arrested Anselmo Vasquez-Vasquez and Felix Vasquez-Aragon. 15-year old Pedro Vasquez-Garcia was then arrested afterwards. Pedro pled guilty to the crime and was released from prison in 2007. Anselmo and Felix were also convicted and were scheduled to be released this year, if they haven't already.
Margarito Reyes-Vasquez and Feliciano Zarate-Rios are still at large in connection with this case. Margarito was also linked to several abductions in the Portland area dating back to 1997. He was connected with an alleged rape before the 2000 attack but that case never went to trial because the victim was too terrified to testify.
If you have information regarding the whereabouts of Margarito Reyes-Vasquez or Feliciano Zarate-Rios, then our advice based on law enforcement websites would be to contact the Washington County Sheriff's Department at 503-846-2700.

Thoughts? I had known about this case for a long time but never got around to doing a thread about it till today. That was my huge oversight as this entire story really bothers me, and I imagine would terrify anyone who is a parent of young children. Hopefully this is the last we ever have to hear about Pedro, Anselmo and Felix. Feliciano probably hasn't stopped doing crimes like this, and it's unfortunately a guarantee that Margarito has not quit this behaviour. The issue is that unless they've returned to the US, Feliciano and Margarito are probably deep in hiding in Mexico, where who knows how many more victims have suffered at their hands.
