Moderator Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form-- Thoughts? The above paragraph I found from newslibrary archive searches, and yes all I could find for a fugitive charged with the death of a two-year old child was one paragraph! To be fair, I have no idea as to what happened with the case against Crystal Gail Burke, so the main focus here is figuring out where Nelson Villareal is hiding. Hopefully his capture report is a detailed article on the work between law enforcement and the public, and more than one paragraph in summary. police.monroenc.org/most-wanted/

Nelson Villareal should thank his lucky stars he was only charged with felony child abuse and not murder or manslaughter.
Sucks there's only a paragraph but I've seen even less words for fugitives charged in relation to a child's death.

There no longer seems to be a Monroe most wanted website section, although I'm assuming Villareal is still at large as of this posting date (5/29/2018), since I've seen no articles claiming otherwise.

That's disappointing that Monroe, North Carolina has dropped their most wanted page. There were some other fugitive cases listed there that I couldn't find additional information through Newslibrary. North Carolina isn't the greatest state at getting detailed information I seem to notice.
