On March 2, 2014, business owner Ruben Bodden was found murdered in his automotive parts shop. Vista, California authorities charged Janice Macedonio with Ruben's murder. Janice is believed to have fled to Mexico with her six-year old daughter. While a motive has not been publicized, Ruben's son Brian was at one point a suspect in a quadruple shooting in 2013. A 16-year old and 13-year old died from their injuries. The charges against Brian were dropped in that case.

Thoughts? It isn't clear whether the former case against Brian Bodden was related to his father's murder so I would just be speculating on the involvement. San Diego's NBC station did reference the case so it is possible. Not only do we need to find Janice Macedonio but we need to safely find her daughter as well, it's never good when a parent on the run for murder takes their child(ren) with them.
