(Above photo credit: Enfield, CT government website) DOB 24-JUL-54 Wanted for Arson -- In 1978, Kalman Szabo married his wife Marianna in Hungary and soon afterwards, immigrated to the United States. Kalman set up work as a seasonal painter in Connecticut. While he and his daughter were overseas, Marianna set fire to their home for unknown reasons. Kalman paid $5000 to get Marianna out on a first-degree arson charge. She responded by taking away all of their valuables, including jewelry, gold and money in their bank account and fleeing to Hungary. According to Enfield, CT government website, Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Marianna Szabo should call the Enfield Police Department at 860-763-8930.
Moderator Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form-- Thoughts? There is no question that Marianna Szabo is an extremely heartless person. She responds to her husband who paid five grand to get her out of jail by taking away all of their assets, and they had been married for 25 years! Chances are Marianna is still in Hungary and I'm not certain if they would actively look for a fugitive wanted just for arson. articles.courant.com/2003-06-21/news/0306211733_1_catalano-bond-bailwww.enfield-ct.gov/557/Enfields-Most-Wanted

The problem here is extradition and whether it's feasible if that's where she is.
