(Above photo credits: Charley Project) DOB: October 14, 1956 (Currently 60 years old) Height: 5'2-5'7 Weight: 135-185 lbs Race: Asian Hair: Black Eyes: Brown -- In September 1987, the torso of an unidentified woman was found in Washington State's Lewis River, with her legs being recovered a few days later in Oregon. Later that month, the remains of an unidentified infant were found in Washington State. Although authorities thought that the woman and child were related, the remains wen't unidentified for two days. That changed in 2006 when a man reported the Narain family missing. The family consisted of Ashok Narain, his wife, 24-year old Raj along with their 14-month old daughter Kamnee. Relatives in Fiji submitted DNA analysis and the remains were positively identified. Ashok is now wanted for questioning in the deaths of Raj and Kamnee, although he is believed to have returned to Fiji in 1988. Based on investigative agencies, it is advised to contact the Eugene, Oregon Police Department at 541-682-5174 if you have any information regarding Ashok Narain's whereabouts.
Also any news-related updates on this case can be forwarded to us at amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form-- Thoughts? I'm not sure whether to believe that Ashok is still hiding out in Fiji, since it's a very small island and the relatives in Fiji were cooperative enough to submit DNA. It should be noted that Ashok is only wanted for questioning and there is no warrant for murder at the current time. www.charleyproject.org/cases/n/narain_ashok.html

The Charley Project lists Narain as "Endangered Missing." I guess you can be both a fugitive and both. Interesting case but for very sad reasons. Who knows if Ashok is even still alive anymore.

What I take it to mean is they don’t have solid evidence either way as to whether he is a victim or the prime suspect.
