Fuentes has ties to Houston, Texas; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Harnett County, North Carolina; and the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina areas. Who to call if you've seen him: Local FBI field office or embassy or submit a web tip at tips.fbi.govEmil Fuentes whose full name is Suarez Emil Antonio Flores is a former full-profile AMW fugitive. However, I was able to find a link to his former AMW.COM description below as he is still at large. Emil Fuentes is wanted for a robbery and murder that occurred on April 2, 2000 in North Carolina. Authorities say that Emil and his cousin, Wilmer Fuentes, robbed a convenience store in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Cops say after the robbery, the two cousins went back to Emil's house in Olivia, North Carolina, and murdered Angela Fuentes, Emil's wife. Angela's mother found her the next day when Angela did not report to work. Police say that after the shooting, Emil stayed in the Fayetteville, NC area for approximately one day then fled. Additional Quirks: 1. A Honduran national 2. Does not smoke or drink 3. Likes to dress well and have a good appearance 4. His full name is Suarez Emil Antonio Fuentes Thoughts? According to his old FBI profile which I also found, he may have fled to Mexico. This is such a strange case. Do we know if he had a criminal record before that night, or did he just snap and decided to commit a crime out of nowhere? For such a brutal case, you'd think AMW would have given Fuentes more than two profiles, yet that's all he's received. It's been a little more than 10 years since his last airing, and AMW apparently wasn't preparing to profile him any time within the past decade.

Altough I don't know if he had a criminal record, his old FBI profile lists multiple aliases. Usually police don't know about a zillion names you use if you're not a criminal. But his profile also lists him as a guy who never smokes and drinks and likes to dress well. That certainly doesn't sound like a guy who would kill his wife, and it is weird he supposedly murdered her right after the robbery. Perhaps she found out and he was worried she'd turn him in?

By now there's a good chance he fled back to Honduras, and authorities appear to have given up publicizing his case. I really don't see him getting captured honestly, although I would be delighted being proven wrong.

Unfortunately I have found absolutely nothing at all in the past five years. I feel it's reasonably safe to assume that Fuentes is still at large as of this update (7/14/2018) because I've found nothing online suggesting otherwise, but it would be nice to see some sort of update one day.

A source confirmed Fuentes as unfortunately still at large as of today (May 10th, 2020) so I am making him fugitive of the week for this week (May 10th-16th, 2020) on our forum.

Another day, another question of whether a fugitve is still alive or not on the forum. Despite being told months ago that Fuentes was still at-large by a source, I've now received a new message that Fuentes was killed in Honduras in a shoot out with police only months after he allegedly killed Angela Fuentes. However, the US can not close the case because they do not offer death certificates only affidavits of death.
If anyone has any additional information on this/proof of this rumor, it would be appreciated.

They probably won’t close the case here in the US unless they have a fingerprint or DNA confirmation that he is dead (like in the John Addis case). |

I'm not trying to insult the person who sent me the death rumor and I thank them but they didn't let me know how they are connected to this case to know this rumor- and I also couldn't find anything online about Honduras not giving out death certificates so right now it's an unsubstantiated rumor. I just wanted to post it anyway so if the person could let me know how if they have proof of this- if they do or how they heard this information. Or if anyone else has heard of this rumor and can email the site.

Welcome to the forum. As a fan page and not law enforcement or an actual TV show, we are unfortunately limited in what we can do. I think right now for whatever reason details of this case are being kept secret from everyone for unknown reasons.
