The Kentucky State Police is requesting the public's assistance in developing new leads on a cold case.
Freddie Fleming was discovered by the Greenville Police Department at approximately 8:30 p.m. near the loading ramp at the rear of the IGA food store. The victim was apparently shot. KSP was contacted to investigate.
Anyone with information concerning this investigation, is urged to contact KSP Detective Billy Sumner or the KSP Post 2 Madisonville at 1-270-676-3313 or toll-free in Kentucky at 1-800-222-5555. Callers may remain anonymous.

Thoughts? There's unfortunately not a ton of information online about this case but I've seen even older cold cases get solved. Also, the above link has a contact form to submit tips where name and email are only optional and you don't have to give them.
