Witnesses reported Jose Perez and Garcia, both of Marsing, had been arguing shortly before neighbors heard a gunshot and saw Garcia walking away. Perez was found dead near the intersection of Cindy Drive and Windy Lane with a single gunshot wound to the chest, which investigators said was made at close range with a high-powered rifle.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Caldwell, Idaho Police Department at 208-454-7531 if you have any information on Valentin Garcia's whereabouts.

Thoughts? The above description was from the special 2012 report on wanted fugitives out of Canyon County, Idaho. I haven't been able to find any additional information on the status of this case so I'm under the belief that he has not been extradited to the US. I find it interesting that his whereabouts were known, yet he was thought to be in a Mexican prison. Usually when you get intelligence as good as that, you get the general location, in this case the name of the prison as well.
