Wade Arthur is a fugitive that to the best of my knowledge has never been on AMW, but he is a cold case fugitive whose case is heating up in sunny South Florida.
Arthur, who vanished nearly 20 years ago, is the suspect in the shooting death of Henderson Griffith, then 22, who was gunned down in Brooklyn, on July 28, 1992, in an argument over a girlfriend. After the slaying, Arthur went to Boston, where he was arrested in 1993 on drug charges. Still, Arthur was released before New York City Police established him as a suspect, obtained a photograph of him and filed a warrant to arrest him on the murder charge
In 1994, he was said to disappear off the radar screen with some sightings in Brooklyn and Fort Myers, Florida according to his niece.
Officials now have information Arthur may possibly be in the South Florida area and believe he probably doesn't look much different except for his hair which might be in dreadlocks.
Thoughts? What I find weird is the article mentions the help of Canadian law enforcement has been issued despite the Florida lead. There must be a reason they're down there and if AMW were to ever get un-cancelled I think they can make him a direct capture despite the passage of time.
Admin Note #1: The suspect, Wade Arthur is in his early 40's at the time this original posting was made and was 22 years old at the time of the killing. Arthur has been described as a black male, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds. He may have dreadlocks. (According to articles), Anyone with any information on his whereabouts should call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
