Massadud, Omar Messaoud, Fethi Messaoud, Bashir Sex: Male Date of Birth: 7/22/1954 Height: 5'7" Weight: 185 lbs. Hair (Color, Description, Facial Hair):Black, Usually has a mustache Eyes: Brown Scars and Tattoos: A female face on his upper left forearm Traits and Habits: Native of Tunisia, Has worked as a grocery store manager, Continues to date even though he is married Last Seen: Cleveland, Ohio Other possible locations: Mexico, Morocco, Tunisia Last Known Location: Cleveland, Ohio Who to call if you've seen him: Local or international FBI field office or embassy or submit a web tip at tips.fbi.govFethi Jelassi is wanted for the double murder of David Settle and his mother Patsy back in 2000. Jelassi, despite the fact that he was married, constantly dated other women. In 2000, the woman he was dating at the time was also dating David Settle. This caused Jelassi to become very jealous. Apparently, Jelassi wanted to be the only man in a woman's life, despite his cheating ways. In June 2000, a friend of Settle entered his home and found Settle's body in the basement; he had been shot. Even worse, lying next to Settle was his mother, Patsy. She too had been shot. It appears she was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Cops interviewed everyone involved and determined Jelassi was responsible, but he was already gone. Cops say Jelassi traveled a lot, so he is more than likely out of the country. He may be in his native Tunisia, and even possibly Morocco. Unfortunately, since its possible he's facing the death penalty, there's a good chance, if he's out of the country, that they won't extradite him. Thoughts? I agree that it's unlikely that he would ever be extradited, the bigger problem may be pinpointing his exact whereabouts in the first place. Also, were all of his airings during All Points Bulletins?

I believe so, although his December 2002 appearance was shown right after a commercial break. I doubt there was any difference though.

Does anyone remember if Jelassi was on the FBI's website? I think he was but it seems they removed him from the website. They remove many fugitives without being captured, especially a cold case one like Jelassi, but I'm pretty sure they removed him nevertheless.

If he's located in an African or Middle Eastern country, I'm surprised they of all places would object so much to America's death row. Could it be possible that any country he's likely hiding in would agree to send him back if we promised he'd only get life without parole?

Could it be possible that any country he's likely hiding in would agree to send him back if we promised he'd only get life without parole? That's a good question. I should reference back to the current manhunt for Jesus Gerardo Salazar however where Venezuela would only extradite him if Texas authorities agree to a 30-year sentence. I guess it depends on the country he's hiding out in.

Surprisingly did not find a federal Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution (UFAP) warrant in Pacer search. Although me and HeadMarshal point out we have found cases with Pacer warrants that for whatever reasons don't always show up in online search.
