(Above photo credit: fbi.gov archives) Fugitive Profile Statistics as of August 1st, 2014 (based on FBI.gov profile): Aliases: Francisco A. Murillo, Francisco Murillo Mendoza Date(s) of Birth Used: April 12, 1983 Place of Birth: Mexico Height: 5'10" Weight: 130 pounds Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Sex: Male Race: White (Hispanic) Nationality: Mexican Scars and Marks: Murillo suffered an injury as a child and has a glass right eye. He has tattoos on his left hand, right calf, and right knee. He also has a scar on his hand. Remarks: Murillo has ties to Colorado, Texas, and Mexico. Who to call if you've seen him: Call your local FBI field office or embassy or submit a web tip to tips.fbi.govFrancisco Murillo is wanted by the FBI on a murder charge. He was aired once on AMW in 2010 during a 15 Seconds Of Shame segment. On April 20, 2006, Floyd Sanchez, his best friend and his cousin went to local pool hall in Thornton, Colorado. Also at the pool hall was Francisco Murillo, a frequent patron. Authorities say an argument erupted between Floyd and Francisco over a pool game. The owner told the men to leave after he realized a bet had been made over the game. After they left, Francisco opened fire on Floyd's group, killing Floyd and wounding his two companions. Francisco Murillo has several tattoos but most importantly, a glass right eye because of a childhood injury. He also was known to deal cocaine and be involved in gangs. Murillo is originally from Mexico and may currently be there, or in Denver or El Paso, Texas. Thoughts? The FBI believes Murillo fled to Mexico and I feel he's probably still hiding out there. Perhaps he got involved with drug trafficking. www.fbi.gov/wanted/murders/francisco-alfonso-murilloAdmin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

I think a guy with a glass right eye would have been recognized in the U.S. So yeah, likely in Mexico.

Since it was determined that Vinnicio Martinez was dead, Francisco Murillo became my #1 FBI Top Ten candidate out of the FBI Denver field office. I’m shocked at the fact that this murderer is still at large 12 years later, on paper he seems like he has the traits of recent top ten candidates especially since he was allegedly involved in gangs and it was a shooting in a public place.

I'm also kinda surprised we are still looking for Francisco Murillo 12 years later. Even though he could be in his native Mexico, he was only 23 when he went on the run with no known occupational/work skill history (the fbi posters usually mention previous occupations). You also don't see someone with a glass eye every day either. He's got to be getting help from someone.

Let’s hope he hasn’t or gets into a fight while on the run, because I know with that Glass eye it won’t be pretty.

I think it was actually Socorro Gutierrez who was possibly deceased, but it was never confirmed. I removed the entire case from our website since Vinicio Martinez was removed from the FBI site, making it way too confusing to determine what was current and what wasn't with all the death rumors removals etc.. but he will be added back to our site should the FBI ever add him back to theirs. (And Gutierrez as well if it's ever somehow determined he's actually still alive).
As far as Murillo, besides getting help, the other thing I can think of/fear is the possibility he joined a drug cartel based on his alleged crimes. That would also explain still not being caught despite the glass eye.

As of July 14th, 2018, Murillo is still listed as a wanted fugitive on the FBI's website. (Same link as in the OP)

Francisco Murillo is not currently on the FBI's featured fugitives page at the moment. However, as of today, June 30, 2020, the UFAP case against him in PACER shows no movement since it was issued in 2006. I'm concluding that Francisco is still at large, he was just removed from the FBI site which has happened to other at-large fugitives.
