Guillermo CHAVEZ was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and moved to the US at the age of 14. He attended Burges High School in El Paso, completing the 10th grade before dropping out. He has a history of arrests for Driving While Intoxicated.
In 1998, CHAVEZ was arrested after a child accused him of sexual assault over a period of four years, from age 6 to 10. During the subsequent investigation, a second victim was discovered to have been sexually assaulted by CHAVEZ. On September 6, 2001, CHAVEZ was found guilty of three counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and two counts of Indecency with a Child.
In 2002, CHAVEZ was paroled and renewed his driver license, which he is required to do yearly according to sex offender registration requirements. This was the last time he was seen.
On December 19, 2002, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for CHAVEZ's arrest for Parole Violation (Original Offenses: Aggravated Sexual Assault and Indecency with a Child).

Chavez was once on the Texas Department of Public Safety's Top 10 Most Wanted sex offenders list. Although he is no longer on that list, he is still on the department's website as an overall most wanted fugitive as of this posting date. (10/13/2017).
