Okay so it’s that time of year again and it’s time to predict who the next capture will be. Obviously this year I’m limiting it to a single year since the list isn’t much of a crapshoot as it was in 2014 and 2015, and since there aren’t any recent fugitives that should be exempted as in 2016 and 2017 since everyone on the current list has been on the run for more than a year.
The list has has improved significantly and there are a wide range of possible capture contenders even amongst the veterans. This year the veterans from before 2015, (Fisher, Flores, Brown, Ravelo, Bishop, & Said) are joined by 4 new additions from 2017, but 3 of the veterans may be on their way off as well.
475. Robert Fisher 06/29/02- Investigators and sleuths alike have debates whether he’s dead or alive and his whereabouts are completely unknown as he’s known to be a loner. The right tip from the public is what could lead to Fisher’s capture
487. Alexis Flores 06/02/07- We all know he’s more likely in Honduras, and after seeing an article I’ve shared an article recently about the FBI possibly being in Honduras searching for him, it looks like the end game could be near for him. Which could also explain why his poster hasn’t been updated since May 2007.
489. Jason Derek Brown 12/08/07- As with fellow FBI Phoenix Top Tenner Robert Fisher, investigators and sleuths don’t know where on earth Jason Brown may be, but I personally think another batch of age progressed images of him could finally bring him in, or at least keep the tips coming.
493. Eduardo Ravelo (CAPTURED) 10/20/09-06/26/18- After the recent developments in the case, I feel federal investigators are getting somewhere, but we just don’t know that for obvious reasons, but hopefully it’s a capture or at least that they’ve located his remains.
502. William Bradford Bishop (REMOVED FROM LIST) 04/10/14- 06/27/18- The rare good fortunes in recent years with the captures of Whitey Bulger and Pino Loporto, as well as the discovery of Donald Webb’s remains, Bishop having the notoriety that he has now as a FBI Top Tenner could be a factor that would bring him in alive, though I may be too optimistic that it will happen. Bishop may likely be found deceased if investigators or sleuths check databases for John Does on every continent, or if his “new family” comes out and says “he admitted he’s actually William Bishop”
504. Yaser Said 12/04/14- The image that was shared of a man resembling Yaser Said, could in fact be him, there are obvious similarities between the 2 and obviously at 60 years old Yaser would look very skinny. If it is him, I’m hoping that this year is the year we finally bring in Yaser once and for all, Egypt has an obligation to extradite him and finally face his punishment.
514. Bhadreshkumar Patel 04/18/17- I believe Patel is living outside of the United States, as publicity has been absolutely amazing in this case, but there’s possibilities that he’s overseas in India, Canada or Great Britain. Sadly if Patel is in fact on the other side of the world in India, it may take several years before they even find and arrest him because of the fact that he could blend in, basically he replaces Fidel Urbina in that aspect.
515. Santiago Villalba Mederos 09/25/17- The U.S. consulates and embassies have put out the word on Mederos, but this case could go both ways despite having been on the run nearly 8 years. Investigators seem to pinpoint 2 Mexican states where he could be and it’s basically a matter of tips from the public in Mexico.
516. Alejandro Rosales Castillo 10/24/17- theoretically, he should be the next capture, but I wouldn’t be so quick to judge as investigators in Mexico have said they can’t find him. I think Castillo has changed his appearance drastically and is living somewhere in Veracruz or the Mexican state of Guanajuato, possibility dating a girl that doesn’t know who he is and the parents unknowingly took him in.
517. Jesus Roberto Munguia (CAPTURED) 11/13/17-02/15/18-The most recent addition to the FBI Top Ten is also the Wild Card on the list especially having been on the run 10 years now. There’s a possibility that Munguia is still in the U.S. with his TEPA-13 crew and it’s a matter of time before he’s taken into custody for something small or killed by a rival gang or police, but also there’s the chance he’s in Tijuana, Mexico with family and it’s just a matter of the authorities to act. The worst case is he’s in Mexico living off the radar with a new identity and a new family.
