Haven't found any updates since last January, although because of that I'm assuming that Patterson is unfortunately still at large as of this update (7/7/2018).
Of course, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.

Unfortunately, Patterson was said to still be at large as of August 7th, 2019. There is a ton of new information in the article so I'm just going to copy and paste the article: "Department is requesting information to find a man wanted in connection to the 2013 Hopkinsville murder of 53-year-old Faye Waddlington Springfield. Previous reports list Springfield was found strangled and stabbed in her home July 30, 2013, and a warrant was issued for the arrest of Jason Van Patterson the following year after DNA found at the murder scene matched DNA found at the scene of a robbery that occurred in Lexington July 30, 2013. Patterson was reportedly seen with Springfield on the day of her murder, and he has been on the run ever since. His truck was found abandoned in Lyon County in Oct. 2013. Patterson has ties to Madisonville and Manitou and other areas of the state including Georgetown, Maysville, Lexington and Lancaster, HPD reported. He also has ties to Hgginsport and Cincinnati, Ohio, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Toronto in Canada. HPD reports Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information that leads to Patterson’s arrest. Callers can remain anonymous and a court appearance is not required for information. HPD asks citizens to call (270) 887-TIPS or text CRIMES (274637) and enter hpdtip in the text followed by information. “By finding Patterson, we hope to provide the family of Mrs. Spirngfield the chance for some closure,” HPD said in a statement released today. surfky.com/index.php/christian/christian-county-news/142507-hopkinsville-pd-seeking-information-to-find-man-wanted-on-2013-murder-charge

Well with the active Canadian viewership for both Live PD and In Pursuit, perhaps detectives should present Jason Patterson's case to either A&E and/or ID Discovery.

Just wanted to update that as of today, December 7, 2020, Jason Patterson appears to still be at large since there has been no further publicity since the article in August 2019.
In addition, I could not find an UFAP-type warrant for Jason in PACER for the Western District of Kentucky (the main reason why I am updating this thread).

I apologize as Bluegrass Crime Stoppers erroneously reported Patterson as captured. He is unfortunately still at large according to a source and will be moved back into the st large fugitives section.

To make up for the mistake is have made Patterson our fugitive of the day for today. I also don’t want to just blame Crime Stoppers as seeing it is not an official law enforcement site and not entirely reliable I should have looked for additional resources or information to confirm they were accurate in claiming he was captured. I apologize since this was my fault as well.
