Location information: Devon Russell may be hanging out on marinas, docks or anywhere that involves boating. Detectives say Russell is familiar with boating and has allegedly recruited men and women from the islands in and around the Bahamas for smuggling into the U.S. via Florida. Russell may be recruiting still.
Last Seen: Bahamas. Frequents Freeport, Bahamas and is familiar with Haiti and other islands in the Carribean.

Devon Russell is wanted for Alien Smuggling Resulting In Death. AMW aired his case six times from 2008 to 2012.
Devon Russell and Zhivargo McBride, organized a scheme to smuggle migrants from Haiti to South Florida on boats. McBridge would be the captain of a boat and Russell would be the recruiter. When McBride got his boat close to the Florida shore, he forced almost everyone on board to jump and swim to land. McBride however took drug and weapon smugglers straight to shore on his boat. On November 5, 2005, the bodies of three women would wash up on the shore of Pompano Beach, Florida, they had drowned to death.
Investigators located some migrants who had swam to shore and they revealed what had happened. McBride was arrested and charged with the deaths, he pled guilty and got 15 years in prison. Henry Pierre was also a part of the smuggling ring. After AMW aired this story, Pierre was caught in the Bahamas by a tipster. Pierre got three years in jail and has probably been released by now.
Devon Russell is still wanted. I came across a 2010 article with some information that was not mentioned on any of his AMW profiles, including the 2012 one. Devon Russell is apparently the member of the Russell Crime Family in the Bahamas. The family was implicated in a 1999 beating and arson incident of two American club owners, however authorities did nothing about it because the hit was allegedly done by a man named Ezra Russell, a campaign manager for a local politician. Devon's father is Allan Russell was a captain who was allowed to walk away from an accident called the Sea Hauler incident (maritime disaster that left four people dead and 25 seriously injured) without any legal action as well as drug charges.
Thoughts? Judging by the information in my last paragraph, I'm really not optimistic that anyone in the Bahamas is going to arrest Devon Russell unfortunately.
