Those are pretty good predictions!
I personally am just going to focus on the concrete news that comes in and not make too many predictions and I'll explain why:
Back before season 2 of The Hunt, I made a couple of suggestions for how to improve upon what was a great debut season, I said they should bring back 15 seconds of shame like AMW had in order to air more fugitives and also said something like I wonder if they would perhaps try switching up the format a bit and have the actors speak in the re-enactments just to see if it would fit (not the greatest suggestion/pontification but whatever)
All of a sudden, a bunch of sleuthing message boards and a Facebook page that was discussing The Hunt that wasn't mine was posting that The Hunt was bringing back 15 seconds of shame and having the actors speak for season 2. (Which was also their "exclusive" insider information).
Even though it was only my suggestions and pontifications, people's short attention spans and poor reading skills took it as fact and made me and our site look like we didn't know what we were talking about when those things didn't happen (fake news lol).
So now I'm like prediction/suggestion shy because of that lol.
All I know is in ZPZ I trust and everyone should watch the new season of Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown if they can! (I've finished the first few seasons on Netflix so everyone knows I'm putting my money where my mouth is lol)
EDIT: This post was made before Anthony Bourdain's tragic passing in June 2018. It is still a beautiful and important show that should be watched.

The best part about John Walsh moving to the ID Channel, is that according to it's Wiki page, 73.9% of American Households received the ID channel in 2015. So there will still be approx. 86 million households with viewers that can tune in and watch "In Pursuit With John Walsh".

The discovery HQ is not far from my house lol, I should see if they’re hiring anyone to search for cases lol. Also it mentions that In Pursuit will air in the first quarter in 2019, so that’s January-April.

Hate to break it to you but Discovery is moving to NYC lol.
But yeah Q1 would be January-April although I think that ultimately means the premiere date will be one of those months.

Waaaaaa (I’m crying lol jkjk), but hey you could work there then lol. I am familiar with the fact that Discovery’s their # 1 show Deadliest Catch starts in April on Tuesdays, so clearly it wouldn’t be on a Tuesday.

From TV Newser: :"Earlier this week at the Discovery Inc. upfront, which now includes all Scripps and Discovery channels, the company announced that John Walsh will host a new show called In Pursuit, which picks up where his HLN show, The Hunt, left off. That show will air on Discovery ID, the crime-focused network which also carries Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall, and repackages episodes of 20/20. The Hunt aired 5 seasons, first on CNN, then on HLN, but won’t go to a season 6. Walsh hosted America’s Most Wanted for 23 years on FOX." www.adweek.com/tvnewser/john-walsh-takes-his-crime-fighting-to-discovery-id/361902So we have confirmation "In Pursuit" is replacing The Hunt. (except The Hunt actually had 4 seasons- unless you count the 16-episodes on HLN as two seasons). And once again, I feel this is a good thing.

I will say not sure how "In Pursuit" will work but the one thing I do feel bad about is the victims from the fugitives of The Hunt as if it's the same format I'm not sure those fugitives would get aired again. Especially sucks for the victims' families in the HLN season since those episodes didn't get as many eyeballs as the CNN seasons in the first place. Hopefully they can still figure out a way to rerun The Hunt but how to handle tips and edit the portions asking to call or email The Hunt would be weird. CNN's tip form still works at the moment it seems but who knows how long that will last.

CNN's tip form still works at the moment it seems but who knows how long that will last. It really does suck considering that all 4 seasons of The Hunt, they aired some very good cases and unfortunately they would have to pave the way for other cases, like on the Most Wanted Lists, they would probably choose Corey Gaston, Larry China, or Robert Lee King from the Top 15 , and on the Top Ten, they’d probably choose Alexis Flores or Santiago Mederos (Since they may hold off on Jason Brown, and Alejandro Castillo could be caught soon, but if he’s not then I’d consider him, Eduardo Ravelo and new Top Ten Fugitive Rafael Caro-Quintero’s case’s may not be compatible with a Hunt Style format) if they plan to keep The Hunt’s format. The cases that are still unsolved and aired on The Hunt, I see them being aired a few years on down the road on In Pursuit.

I guess it depends. If it's the same format, might be a little hard to make an episode on the same exact fugitive fresh and original (especially if it's JW giving opinions again- he's just going to repeat his thoughts again?)- but once again we have no idea what In Pursuit will look like until it actually airs.
My personal opinion is we still need an AMW-esque breaking news fugitive show that covers multiple cases and has room for breaking news cases in addition to a more expanded fugitive show that can give more details like The Hunt did.

Something I'm hoping for is a more in-depth website to list fugitive stories. Not to the extent of the 2004-2012 website which I feel got too big to manage. What I would like is something comparible to the 1999-2004 website. It had an episode guide listing but it also had a state-by-state section for cases that didn't make it on the show, with actual profiles of those cases.

I believe I have found the Investigation Discovery website for viewers in Mexico. At least we can confirm viewers in Mexico will be able to watch In Pursuit and once again lend JW a hand at finding US fugitives south of the border. www.latam.discovery.com/id

I just saw "Uso de Cookies" and now I'm hungry lol.
Seriously, the ID channel I believe is also available in many Caribbean and European countries as well from what I googled. (Its an internationally available channel at the very least).
