According to the Harris County Court Records, Jose Nelson Amaya is wanted on a murder warrant. That warrant was issued on March 17, 1982. As of 2017 he was still at large because at the time he was on the Houston Crime Stoppers page. Further information on the 1982 murder case is not available.

Thoughts? As mentioned above it looks like Jose Nelson Amaya is still at large as of today, October 01, 2018 since there has been no movement in the Harris County Court Records in recent years. His picture was saved when I was looking up old fugitive cases out of Houston on their Crime Stoppers page last year, unfortunately, those photos are not available on their current website any longer.
I want to give the fugitives where I can confirm the year of their warrant their own individual thread so that if some has more detailed case information, it's easier to relay that information to us rather than going through several pages and photos.
