On June 20, 1992, Juan Venegas and Alvino Macedo were drinking near Alvino's apartment in Santa Ana, California. As the night went on, the two got into a minor argument regarding an incident that happened in the past, which led Alvino to make insulting remarks about Juan's father.
Alvino spent the night sleeping in his car when authorities say Juan allegedly stabbed Alvino. Alvino then stumbled into his wife's apartment and told her that Juan had stabbed him, before dying in her arms. A murder warrant was issued for Juan Venegas, which is still active to this day.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Santa Ana Police Department at 1-714-245-8665 if you have any information on the whereabouts of Juan Vargas Venegas.

Thoughts? As of today, October 27, 2018, Juan Vargas Venegas still has an active warrant in the Orange County Warrants Search page so he is still a fugitive. His information was obtained from a 1993 archived news report on alleged murder fugitives out of Orange County and a 1992 article from the L.A. Times. As I've been going through the 1993 report on Newspaperarchive.com, it seems like a lot more of those fugitives have been located than I first anticipated, which is obviously a good thing since they don't have active warrants in Orange County's database.
As far as the murder itself, despite the remarks that Alvino is suspected of making about Juan's father, Juan should have had the maturity to not allegedly stab Alvino to death as a result. Obviously when you're drinking, common sense sometimes goes out the window but I still feel this could have been resolved a lot differently than using a knife to settle the dispute.
Juan would only be 49 years of age as of today, so he's most likely still alive. As with the other Orange County fugitives I've profiled this week, he's likely in Latin America but could have always returned to California under an alias with the lack of media attention in recent years.
