Yudit Lopez and Baldemar Espino are wanted in connection with the death of one of their children. AMW briefly featured Yudit as the Utah fugitive on the 2008 50/50 Fugitives show.

On Oct 24, 2006, a citizen reported a tip that a baby was buried in a garbage bag near an apple orchard outside of Payson, Utah. Investigators discovered the baby and identified her as nine-month Perla Lopez. The apartment of Perla's parents, Yudit Lopez and Baldemar Espino's apartment was searched, turning up Perla's blood in the bathroom and a bedroom as well as cleaning fluid. Despite that, the cause of Perla's death could not be determined. Yudit and Baldemar were charged with Desecration Of A Human Body but they had fled with their two older daughters, got on a Greyhound bus and travelled to Guadalajara, Mexico.

Thoughts? Yudit may be the shortest fugitive ever profiled on AMW, (she's only 4'6) so I imagine she and Baldemar Espino are still in Mexico with their other two children. I feel that there's a good chance that Perla's death was a homicide, due to the blood being found in the two rooms in the apartment along with cleaning fluid. I'm still very concerned for the safety of the other two daughters.

You did a good job with this! I saw 912th recommended we add them the other week but I wasn't entirely confident I could string together a long enough thread based on what I could find.

Yeah, when someone is that short and noticeable you figure they must have moved to another country. Take Chuy Canales for example. He did absolutely nothing to change his appearance and managed to stay on the run there for 5 years. While this is more a unique characteristic as opposed to an appearance-change, it still does point out some logic to say the couple fled to Mexico.

My fear is like the Casey Anthony case (which I agreed with you it was the correct verdict, as much as we're likely in the minority on this and it's painful for me to say it), it may be hard to prove Perla was murdered. The blood doesn't look good and cleaning fluid doesn't look good, but it seems pretty easy for them to claim it was an accident and they panicked. But I do know this. Innocent people on average don't flee. And they have obviously have given reason to be suspicious of a negligent homicide at the very least. I do think a stronger circumstancial case can be built against Lopez and Espino than there was against Anthony though.

Also want to mention Baldemar can only be found under his full name Baldemar Reyes-Espino.

Also, according to Utah County warrant search, Espino's date of birth is 4/4/1984 which would make him 33 years old as 12/10/2017, and Yudit Nava Lopez's date of birth is listed as 5/14/1987 which would make her 30 years old as of 12/10/2017:
