Fugitive Profile as of December 10th, 2017: (Based on 2014 FBI press release):
Name: Gonzalez Gonzalo Harrell
Alias: Gonzalo Harrell, Gonzalo Herrell, Gonzalo Harrell-Gonzalez
Race: White/Hispanic
Sex: Male
Age: Late 40's
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 150 lbs.
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Place of Birth: Mexico
Gonzalo Harrell-Gonzalez has been wanted since 2000 on a vehicular homicide charge in Georgia. The following is his old AMW.COM profile description I was able to find:
"Cops say Gonzalo Harrell-Gonzalez was driving the vehicle that ran into Billy Inman's vehicle, killing Inman's son Dustin instantly. Billy's wife is also permanently disabled as a result of the accident.
On June 16, 2000, Billy Inman's vehicle, a Pontiac Grand Am, was hit from behind. Billy Inman was stopped behind a Ford Bronco, which was stopped at a traffic light. Police say Gonzalo, who was driving an Oldsmobile, ran into Billy Inman's car. The speedometer of Harrell's vehicle was stuck at 62 mph. The impact from the rear-end collision pushed Inman's Pontiac into the rear of the Bronco, crushing it in an accordian-like fashion. Dustin Inman was sitting in the back seat along with his dog. Both he and his dog died at the scene. Police have stated that Gonzalo admitted to falllng asleep in his car when he struck Inman's vehicle.
Gonzalo was transported to the North Georgia Medical Center, where he then checked out and is believed to have fled to his father's residence in Birmingham, Alabama."
Gonzalo was aired as at least a commercial break fugitive on AMW in 2003 and 2004. He was also thought to have been captured in Alabama but it turned out it was Gonzalo's brother.
The reason I am adding him to the site today is there is a new effort to find him and new article on him. Crime Stoppers Atlanta has now raised the reward for Gonzalo's capture to $2,000. The FBI is supporting the reward and asking for the public's help.
Thoughts? It seems he initially fled to Alabama and at least his brother was there so despite the passage of time, I actually wouldn't be surprised if he didn't flee to Mexico, and is still somewhere in the South close enough to his father or other family he may have, but far enough away to avoid detection.
