AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety is asking for your help to solve a crime for nearly 20 years ago.
They say it's about the murder of John Holt, who was murdered June 25, 2000 in Gonzales County.
The husband and father was last seen arguing with his hired ranch hand, Miguel Angel Osorio-Munoz, who went by the name Cesar Alonso Osorio.
Witnesses said after the argument, Osorio-Munoz was seen fleeing the area.
Moments later, Holt was found dead from a gunshot wound.
Officials filed arrest warrant for the murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution but they have yet to find him.
Osorio-Munoz has not been seen since, but he's described as 5'5'' heavyset with brown hair and eyes, he would be 45 now.

I am always glad to see when there is renewed publicity on a cold case and I hope this can be finally lead to justice for John Holt's loved ones.
