The FBI's Los Angeles Field Office is assisting the Los Angeles Police Department in California with their search for Carlos Vasquez Serrano, a convicted felon.
On February 1, 2006, Serrano allegedly murdered a man in a bar in Los Angeles, California. After the alleged murder, Serrano allegedly broke into the bar's office and stole the bar's video recording equipment. Then, Serrano allegedly kidnapped a woman and fled to Mexico with her against her will.
Serrano was charged with murder, kidnapping, assault with a firearm, and second degree commercial burglary by the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest on October 10, 2012.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Los Angeles FBI Field Office at 310-477-6565 if you have any information on Carlos Vasquez Serrano's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, March 26, 2019, Carlos Vasquez Serrano is still at large since he was added to the FBI's "Law Enforcement Assistance" page last week. This appears to be a new section of the Featured Fugitives page where local agencies can submit fugitives with only state and not federal arrest warrants to be publicized by the FBI.
It's good we have publicity on Carlos Serrano since a google search does not come up with any news articles or postings on other Law Enforcement websites.
Two questions I have though. Why even though the bar murder occurred in 2006 was a state arrest warrant issued in 2012. Second, was the woman allegedly kidnapped by Carlos located? I'm hoping she was found alive but the poster doesn't reference exact details to these two questions.
But as I mentioned yesterday, the more confirmed fugitive murder suspects out of Los Angeles County that actually get publicity, the better.
