More than nine months after his death, there are still few answers in the Kelly Glover homicide.
The Grahn native’s body was found Feb. 13 on Davis Trail Road in Elliott County. Kentucky State Police determined the case to be a homicide but have yet to make any arrests.
The victim's brother, Randy Glover, holds out hope, along with close friends and relatives, that those responsible will be brought to justice. He admits, however, that the investigation has been difficult.
“They've really made no headway. It's a slow process. Every time we talk to them they say they're waiting on phone records or something else before they can move forward,” said Glover.
He says he has given the KSP a name that could be considered as a person of interest in the case.
“I told the state police who I believe did it. There hasn't been anyone arrested though,” said Glover.
He alleges that an individual contacted his brother to purchase rock and that Kelly's life was taken when he showed up with the delivery.
“They ambushed him, plain and simple,” said Glover.
The Journal-Times reached out to the KSP for comment regarding the ongoing investigation but messages were not returned as of press time.
Friends and family of Kelly Glover have held a vigil and conducted a memorial ATV ride in his honor in the hopes that keeping this case in the forefront will encourage someone to come forward with helpful information.

A $10,000 cash reward has been posted for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Glover's death.

Thoughts? I want to stress the above article is from 2015 so some details may have changed however Kelly Glover's I'm assuming case is unfortunately still unsolved as of this posting date (3/30/2019) for two reasons:
1. His case is still listed as unsolved on the Project: Cold Case database: database.projectcoldcase.org/?age=&city=&county=&gender=&more=&name=&offense=&page=15&race=&reported_max=&reported_min=&state=Kentucky&status=&weapon=&year=&zip=
