I don't know to as if many of you may have heard this or even seen it on the internet but FBI (Former) Top 10er Gary Ray Bowles is scheduled for execution 08/22/19.
I read that he wasn't just an FBI Top 10er but he was also aired on "America's Most Wanted", it was 1994 during his rampage that he even was so close to my home town of Kensington, MD. I mean I read he took (or dumped) a victim's stolen car in the neighboring village of Wheaton, MD, which is right next to Kensington. I was 5 years old when he was near my home town and to me that is just insane......
I mean since I now live in Rockville, MD I thought that the only serial killer or killer(s) I grew up hearing about were/was the D.C. Snipers.
I don't know for if he (Bowles is mentioned on this forum) but I just thought that I'd add this little tidbit of breaking news.

The Federal Death Row as I recall is located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The reason as to why I posted the breaking news on Bowles going to be 'fried' on 08/22/19 was because I was just wondering, since I was only 5 years old when he was profiled on "AMW" I was just wondering to as if there are any fans who remember the episode?

I watched AMW as a regular viewer a little bit after that so it was just before my time. On another note, please remember the FBI top 10 fugitive discussion forum is for discussion only of CURRENT fugitives on the list. I have moved this thread to the appropriate section as a result- which is Top 10 GENERAL discussion below the top 10 FUGITIVES discussion section. Anything not current such as updates on former fugitives or whatever please post in the general discussion section, which is the reason I created this section. Also, once again, for the most part no one gets *fried* anymore, and the death penalty is becoming less and less used in general, but usually lethal injection is the method. |

Thank you for correcting me on where former FBI Top Tenners can be mentioned. FYI I know that nobody gets 'fried' anymore and now it's lethal injection, the reasoning say 'fried' on death row so much is because to me it doesn't matter if the method is the chair or the needle, to me the toxic cock tails are going to 'Fry' Bowles from the inside. |
