The FBI's Newark Field Office is assisting the Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office in New Jersey with their search for Diego Alfonso De Leon Mejia and an unknown male suspect with the aliases of "Pineapple" or "Pina".
The two men are wanted for their alleged involvement in the murder of another man at a gas station in Paterson, New Jersey, on May 16, 2019. The victim was shot and killed.
On May 31, 2019, Diego Alfonso De Leon Mejia was charged with murder and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose by the Paterson Municipal Court, State of New Jersey, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the FBI's Newark Field Office at 973-792-3000 if you have any information on the whereabouts of Diego Alfonso De Leon Mejia, or any information on the identification of the unidentified accomplice.

Thoughts? As of today, June 21, 2019, Diego De Leon Mejia and the unidentified accomplice are still listed as "at large/wanted" on the FBI's Law Enforcement Assistance Page. It appears they were added to the site yesterday. The Law Enforcement Assistance section appears to be a resource for the FBI to publicize manhunts where there is no federal UFAP warrant, just a state arrest warrant.
Adding these two to the site was important because I didn't see any news articles on this case. Even better if we can get some more additions from the Newark FBI office, like the huge amount of Los Angeles bureau cases from earlier this year.
