Like I said before, I'd rather just worry about it when the time comes.

If anyone can find anything on Frederick McCaskill, it would be appreciated. He is on the tip form for In Pursuit with John Walsh, but all I know is he will be a full-profile fugitive. I have no idea what he's wanted for, what he looks like etc... All I can find is a mylife.com profile suggesting he's from Florida. I currently don't have enough information to make a thread unfortunately.

A bit frustrated that despite the amazing capture of Jacob Scott, In Pursuit has yet to happen a capture happen in season 2 that we an argue is a "direct" capture when he had it with Frias at this time last year. Once again it is a slow start but it is a slow start despite the cases being more recent and a few fugitives not as likely to be in Mexico (not that they can't be in Mexico, but in theory you could still see them in the states). Unfortunately, besides Frias, it's been the same slow start as last year. I'm thinking maybe the next season should start in a different month other than January or start an hour earlier at 9 PM ET (as I've been advocating for) in the future or something, but I'm only mentioning my frustration publicly since usually every time I express frustration a capture happens right afterwards and I'm hoping my reverse psychology works. I don't want to jinx it but according to some internet research of mine- we might just have that direct capture. Every thing matches up to one of the fugitives of one of the main cases shown so far being caught in Mexico- but I want to make sure as it's a Spanish-language article and it could be coincidence. The reason I think it's this fugitive is because the first name is the same and photo looks exactly like him- even though they gave a different last initial. The only hint I can give is it was one of the main case segment fugitives- if I say whether it was John or Cal's segment that would narrow it down too much. If In Pursuit doesn't announce the capture by tomorrow night's episode I'll say my bad, but if it is him, they will obviously announce it later on today.

Well I can now officially say it was William Troy Stanson and we now have what we can call Cal's first capture! And my reverse psychology to get a capture once again worked!

I’m quite surprised with what a great week it’s been for In Pursuit as 2 of the individual aired this season thus far have been captured. Let’s hope this is the same fate for many more to come.

Sorry for the later than usual thoughts on the episode but here goes:
-In Pursuit does a good job of capturing the personality of the fugitives. Lenelly Kirby cass was kind of similar to the Derell Brown manhunt in Kirby was seen as a quiet guy and the violent side of him was unexpected. Even the Detective stated that Kirby had drug charges, but nothing indicating violence
-Kiera was quite brave and it was a miracle at least she survived. But it was still chilling you could still see a hole in her forehead.
-I appreciated the calm demeanor of the detective- had a low voice and spoke slowly and softly to understand the case. Sometimes you get these gum-chewing guys that yap 5,000 words a minute in a Brooklyn accent and you can't understand what they're saying.
And the Lindsay Harris case felt new to me despite her story being on AMW so many times. It started with both John and Cal sitting down with Lindsay's parents. At first I was like "I know how personal this is for you JW, but let Cal do his thing!" But it was just for the initial and emotional sit-down and then we see Cal following the case. They still mention Sol Barron but they also mention the Neal Falls aspect as well. For the first non-fugitive full segment case of In Pursuit, they did a hreat job.
Also, I appreciated that they referred to the escort that shot and killed Neal Falls as a sex worker and not a prostitute. Part of humanizing these girls who often just get caught up in bad situations in life is to use more politically correct terms and not judge them publicly. Kudos to In Pursuit for the social awareness!

Finally I can spoil it now since tvguide.com spoiled it anyway that after next week's episode (Derek Whisenand and Arnoldo Jimenez), the February 19th episode will be Alejandro Castillo and Leticia Smith as the main segment fugitives. This will mark an interesting episode if we ever do In Pursuit trivia as Leticia Smith will be the first 15 seconds of shame fugitive (she waa on 15 SOS in season 1) to get a full profile in a later season.

Do you get to see the episode a day or so afterwards or after the season? Ironically I bought season 1 on Amazon Prime just in case my dvr ever craps out.

Okay I saw tonight’s episode, it’s available after midnight the day after the airing (so 2 hours after it airs)
Obviously the first case, I’m glad that individual has been captured, and I’m glad they aired Arnoldo Jimenez finally, and let’s hope he finally gets caught.
Both segments were done really well they went into extra detail and I must say, the vibe of In Pursuit is probably the closest to AMW, I loved The Hunt, but it just didn’t have the Vibe of AMW, and most of that has to do with John Walsh speaking to the cameras like he did on AMW rather than giving an interview on The Hunt and appearing for a grand total of 50-90 seconds per episode, the 15 seconds of shamers, were Miguel Alcala and Leticia Martinez, and the missing children were Diego Brito Ramirez and Keiosha Felix.

Will watch myself soon and thanks! While I don't know how the Hunt handles things, I just want to make a note that In Pursuit tries really hard to replace captured fugitives and Whisenand was the only one of three captured fugitives (that I know of, Richard Merritt and Christopher Manning were also supposed to get full segments) that they didn't have time to replace. Of course the main thing is that he is captured but wanted to throw that out there. And yeah now that I know you can watch soon afterwards I'm looking forward to your commentary on all the cases. (I might eventually get rid of cable myself so this is good to know for future references, don't worry ID channel if you're reading I'll still find ways to watch!)
