On 12/04/1981 14-year old Elana Goldstein was found on the side of the roadway off Quail Hollow Blvd in Wesley Chapel Florida. She was the victim of a shooting and was alive at the time of discovery. She died approximately one week after the shooting. The investigation revealed that a possible suspect was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed on a dark-colored motorcycle. Thoughts? Sadly, as the above link indicates, Elana's case is still listed as an unsolved homicide on the Project: Cold Case database as of this posting date (September 1st, 2019). Also there are unfortunately only a few search results when I look for more details about her case online.
