Reward:
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes. There may be additional rewards being offered by other local law enforcement agencies and private parties.
Details:
The FBI’s El Paso Office; El Paso Fire Marshal’s Office; El Paso Police Department; and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for the May 7th, May 13th and June 15, 2019, arsons at St. Matthew Catholic Church, St. Patrick Cathedral, and St. Jude Catholic Church.
The unknown perpetrator(s) of these crimes are believed to have used an incendiary device in an attempt to set fire to three Westside Catholic churches. Each church sustained damage caused from these devices. No one was injured.

Thoughts? There unfortunately seems to be way too many arsons of places of worship lately and whether it be a mosque or temple or church, none of it is ok. I consider myself Jewish but also have a Catholic parent, so it is upsetting to me to see all this hatred and bitterness when we're all the same. Thankfully the FBI has done a good job at highlighting these types of cases, but I wish they wouldn't have to.
