Key Witness Gone With The Wind
On March 20, 2007, U.S. Marshals arrested Devon Germayne Bost for possessing counterfeit U.S. currency. Investigators quickly learned Bost had more than counterfeit currency — he had valuable secrets and information pertaining to underground criminal networks. Moreover, he agreed to cooperate with police.
Authorities eventually released Bost on bond Nov. 9. Before he could testify in court, Bost fled the state. He is now being sought by the U.S. Marshals for probation violation, but more importantly, Bost is considered a key witness in an ongoing investigation. Authorities need to track him down in order to proceed.
Henderson, N.C., police arrested Bost on Nov. 29, 2007, and charged him with breaking and entering, larceny and resisting arrest. An alert officer noticed Bost parked in a driveway that didn’t belong to him. When the officer approached Bost to check on the situation and ask for identification, Bost took off into the adjacent woods.
Police quickly set up a perimeter and apprehended Bost. Arresting officers found him hiding in a tool shed in the backyard of a nearby house.
The Vance County District Court released Bost on a $15,000 cash bail Dec. 31, and he hasn’t been seen since.
Now police and the U.S. Marshals need your help to track Bost down. He has known ties to the Russian mafia and could have fled to New York, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia or Louisiana. Bost is literally covered in tattoos, so he shouldn't be hard to spot.
Thoughts? I really don't get how it's been 7 years and he still hasn't been caught since as the profile stated, he shouldn't be hard to spot. One of his possible locations in his AMW.COM archived profile says the Dominican Republic is also a possibility which might explain his long tenure as a fugitive. Although most of his other possible locations still has him in the states:

UPDATE: I have seen no new articles online at the moment since our 2014 posting. As far as I can tell, Bost is still at large as of this update (7/21/2018), since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
