From CBS Baltimore:
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Officials from the FBI’s Baltimore Field Office and local law enforcement officials held a press conference Wednesday to announce a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the murder of Chanette Neal and Justice Allen.
Neal and Allen were killed in a double murder in April 2018.
Police said officers were called out to a home in the unit block of Gorman Ave. on April 4, 2018, for reports of gunfire.
Responding officers found two women with gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as Neal, 43, and Allen, 21.
Neal and Allen were taken to local hospitals, but both were pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Police said they believe the suspect knew who they were after.
Samantha Boyd-Lide addressed the media Wednesday surrounded by pictures of her sisters.
“What a shame it is to be standing here because someone decided they wanted to end their lives,” Boyd-Lide said. “That’s not fair.”
It’s been nearly two years without any answers. The family said that as it tries to move forward, the pain is still consistent.
“She recently just had a grandbaby that she will never meet,” Boyd-Lide said. “Five-months old yesterday.”
The FBI said it thinks this may have been a gang-related incident. They walked the street Wednesday with Baltimore City homicide detectives to tell neighbors there is now a cash reward for information.
Billboards and tiplines have also been posted around Baltimore City urging the public to come forward with any information.
The public can call Metro Crime Stoppers or 1-800-CallFBI to make any reports on this case.

Thoughts? In 2018 at least, it was speculated that there was a possible link in this case to that of a man named Antoine Benjamin who lived in the same home as Chanette and Justice and was set to go on trial for the murder of a federal informant. Authorities say Benjamin was a member of a drug gang with ties to the Bloods and Black Guerilla Family: baltimore.cbslocal.com/2018/04/05/mother-daughter-killed-baltimore-home-invasion/
