(Above photo credit: kcra.com) From kcra.com: WOODLAND, Calif. — Investigators said Monday they need help with a 2018 unsolved homicide in Yolo County. John “Mike” Hawk was shot and killed on July 19, 2018, at a home in the 36000 block of County Road 20, the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office said. During the investigation, officials classified Hawk’s death as a homicide. “The motive for the homicide does not appear to be robbery,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post Monday. “Valuable items were left in plain view and the residence appeared to be undisturbed.” Investigators believe the suspect was known to Hawk and may have had a close relationship with him. Anyone with information is urged to call the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office at 530-668-5215 or 530-668-5202.www.kcra.com/article/investigators-need-help-with-2018-unsolved-yolo-county-homicide/31088408Thoughts?
